Japanese carbon fiber — an ultra-tough frame
A frame built by enthusiasts—exactly for what you truly expect on the trails. We made the front and rear triangles, as well as the suspension link, entirely from Japanese carbon fiber, giving you an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. Refined geometry and a classic suspension layout with Horst Link deliver what matters most: stability at high speed, confident traction on technical sections, and precise handling—regardless of the surface.
This is a modern frame designed specifically for eMTB, where form goes hand in hand with function. Dynamic lines, an elegantly tucked-away rear shock, internal cable routing, and a hidden speed sensor keep everything looking clean and working with zero compromises. The result? A frame that impresses at first glance—and even more once you start riding.
M510 motor — the king of torque and efficiency
The Bafang M510 gives you a clear advantage where real strength and control matter. Weighing just 2.9 kg, it delivers 250 W of nominal power and 95 Nm of torque—meaning instant acceleration, confident climbing on steep sections, and plenty of power in demanding terrain. At the same time, it’s the king of efficiency: it provides high torque with low current draw, making better use of the battery and helping extend real-world range on the trail. The motor also maintains effective support at high cadence up to 120 RPM, so it doesn’t lose performance when you spin fast and ride dynamically. It’s a drive unit that combines smooth operation with premium-class parameters—so your eMTB feels more stable, rides faster, and delivers more fun on every kilometer.
Battery — capacity and efficiency
A powerful main battery and the option to add a Range Extender turn this bike into a true eMTB “ultra-marathoner.” With the additional battery, you get a total of 1235 Wh of energy—835 Wh in the main battery plus 400 Wh in the Range Extender—meaning more time in the mountains, longer rides, and less range anxiety. The battery has been thoroughly redesigned and is mounted in the frame to minimize exposure to moisture, while a refined sealing system lets you ride confidently in tough, rainy conditions. The new battery shape, based on the latest cell technology, allowed us to make it longer yet lighter—so the downtube is lower and slimmer, the bike looks cleaner, and it handles even better.

Configurable Companion
TOSA offers a wide range of configuration options for the MATE model. A major advantage is the ability to choose from various packages that can be tailored to each rider’s individual preferences.
Additionally, you can select individual components or accessories. The choice is yours—so every MATE can be unique and one of a kind.
MATE impresses on many levels. Thanks to a precise frame concept and minimalist details, it stands out in every aspect.
Its clean, organized cockpit, a minimal number of cables and shifters, and an internal cable-routing system that runs smoothly through dedicated openings in the headset—with special rubber sealing—make the cockpit a reliable companion that doesn’t distract, but supports you during every focused ride.
Cable integration and ergonomic routing, supported by dedicated covers, give you the confidence that while riding you don’t have to worry about anything other than the pure pleasure of pedaling.
MATE is the result of the work of many enthusiasts who were determined to create a perfect product. The suspension, which performs incredibly on descents, retains exceptional sensitivity and reacts to even the smallest bumps.
